Description
Born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, Zhou Xuan is a national first-class singer and China’s New Top Ten Sopranos. After finished post-graduation study under Prof. Jin Tielin in the China Conservatory of Music, Zhou Xuan established Hong Kong Zhou Xuan Arts Centre.
Zhou Xuan is known as ‘the New Golden Voice’ with her broad-range and penetrating voice as well as expressive performance on the stage. In addition, she has published 7 albums and held five solo concerts from 2005 to 2013, three in Hong Kong and two in Beijing. She starts a new singing style by combining ethnical and traditional characteristic with fashionable and popular elements, helping to internationalize and popularize Chinese folk songs.
