Description

"Bāng Chhun-Hong" 望春風 is a Taiwanese folk song composed by Teng Yu-Hsien 鄧雨賢, a Hakka Taiwanese musician, and written by Lee Lin-Chiu 李臨秋. It was released by Columbia Records in 1933, and originally sung by various female singers at that time. The title literally means "Longing for the Spring Breeze". This is an instrumental version arranged for violin and piano by Tyzen Hsiao 蕭泰然.

I recorded this piece 2 weeks ago, and the next morning I somehow developed some kind of vertigo. The violent spinning sensation lasted for almost the whole week on and off. It eventually went away, but it was very very scary......

Anyway, I am fully recovered now. Since then, I have been avoiding using headphones and trying to stay away form my computer when I am not teaching. That's why I am only putting it together now.

My mum, dad, uncle, auntie and my brother were supposed to come and spend the holidays with us. Of course we ended up having to cancel everything due to Covid-19. I really miss them.

I hope this pandemic will end someday soon, so we can all travel to be with our loved ones again. ❤️
