Description
Sisters (Berlin) by Rosemary Clooney & Betty Clooney, orchestra conducted by Paul Weston
Like “Count Your Blessings (Instead Of Sheep)” (Eddie Fisher’s version is posted), this Irving Berlin tune lives on through the generations via re-viewings of the 1954 Crosby-Kaye-Clooney holiday film classic “White Christmas.” In the movie soundtrack, “Sisters” was sung by Rosemary Clooney and Trudy Stevens (voice-dubbing for non-singer Vera-Ellen), and for Rosie’s Columbia single, she was happily paired with her old singing partner from their Tony Pastor days, real-life sister Betty Clooney.
