Description
The famous Barry Mann-Cynthia Weil anthem with its raw Eric Burdon vocal was issued in the U.S. on this MGM 45 and subsequent LP using what was sometimes referred to as the “mistaken” take, as opposed to the different “correct” take of the song which was released in the UK. Later CD compilations usually contained the British-release version rather than this posted track which was the familiar hit in America.
