Description
Happy Birthday to my good buddy, Helen!
Helen lives in the uber-exotic village of Chipping, Lancashire, England within the Forest of Bowland and is a bass player and rabid Tull fan to boot!
The song is Hymn 43 by Jethro Tull off the Aqualung album which came out in 1971.
Jeffrey Hammond-Hammond may, or may not have, played bass on the album. Wikipedia hints that Glenn Cornick might have done the sessions (although he was not credited on the album) before being suddenly replaced by Hammond.
Sorry, I’ve been out of touch for a bit…lots of life-stuff going on here at the moment. I did another Tull song with this bass (it came out better in my opinion) which maybe I’ll post later on, but I put that other song up on Facebook (which I rarely do) and wanted to post something new for Helen’s B-Day.
