Description

I first heard this old ballad sung by Ronnie Drew of the Dubliners, and then I've subsequently seen the merry wallopers perform this. Its a song about a man awaiting execution. This is a traditional Irish song, but I wanted to see if I could make it sound more old timey. I recorded this using a Deering banjo, a yamaha fiddle, and a Martin guitar. I recorded myself playing all instruments and singing.
