Tommy James was asked by Sony Music Publishing to pick a song that he'd like to cover from their Lennon/McCartney catalog that they could pitch it for use in film, tv, and commercials.
"'You've Got To Hide Your Love' away is one of my favorite Beatles songs," says Tommy. "Their version has a sparse arrangement that was wide open for a different approach. I created a gospel-inspired one since the song always affected me that way."
