A dancing USPS worker is delivering mail and smiles to a neighborhood in Bay City.

According to Ring PR, a mail carrier named Abe was captured on a ring door cam dancing while working on his route.

I’ve known Abe, USPS driver, since he took over our route a year and a half ago. He started dancing for my Ring the day I found the notification button on the app that makes an announcement ‘You are being recorded’ when a person approaches my front door. That was late March of 2023. He spontaneously danced for the camera and wished me a great day. He rarely misses a day that he will have a new dance and a greeting. In Michigan, March is usually dreary with a mix of rain and snow and NO SUN! He made my day with his dancing and greeting and beautiful smile. My other Ring camera is at the back door and it doesn’t capture his greetings. I have watched him Live View a few times and I’ve learned how to reply to his greetings.
I definitely feel safer and more hospitable with my Ring doorbells. I can’t always hear people knocking on the door or see them driving up/approaching our home, but that all changed with Ring. I’ve even greeted people as I was away from home and let them know I was on my way. I love my Ring!
